I found this place by the highest rating on Google map in the area and had been wanting to try this place. Their open hours are relatively shorter than other restaurants, so I am so glad that I finally had the chance to come! Their place is quite small, so is their menu comparing with other HK style cafes. However, the quality of their food was exceptional! The steak sandwiches was phenomenal! The steak was juicy and flavourful, and the bun was great, with generous amount of cheese in between. The full day breakfast was surprisingly good. The sauages were crispy! The eggs were crispy, too, not only the edge but also the bottom! The hashbrown was crispy as well, and not too oily, I liked it! HK-style satay beef spaghetti soup was quite tasty, too! Their mix coffee and tea was so good that we ordered another one. Staff was friendly and efficient. The environment was nice. Clean and showing the lastest Hong Kong TV show. Not your average TVB stuff. One bonus was they used compostable utentisls. Prices were very reasonable! I wish they open until later during the evening!

The food is delicious, the quality & the quantity is above average, most important is the price, cheaper than most of the HK style cafe. The boss & the server are very friendly, they always ask if the customers need anything. The only thing that I concern is they close early at 6:00PM because of the lack of chef, therefore no dinner served, hope they can hire more people to help. According to the overall experience, I will come back for sure.

The portion is big and the crispy bun is a must-try item. Laksa is quite good and could be even better if the coconut flavor is stronger. The portion of pork chop with rice is HUGE and good for sharing. Service is excellent and the owner may walk around and check with each customer on seeking their feedback during the off-peak session. Definitely one of the best value for money restaurant in town.

Fat Boy Kitchen is definitely a solid go to for HK food. The pork chops were done perfectly—juicy, tender, and full of flavour. We also tried the laksa, which was excellent. The chicken steak was cooked just right and we really appreciated that they use rice noodles, makes it feel lighter but still super satisfying. Service was very attentive without being overbearing, and the staff were friendly and quick to check in. The seating is clean, comfy, and spaced out enough that it doesn’t feel cramped. Portions are generous and prices are fair for the quality. Great spot whether you're craving a classic HK style meal or something with a southeast asian twist. Will definitely be back!

Showed up here for breakfast not sure what we would expect and was surprised at how friendly the staff were. The breakfast special was great...and the refried beans were a unique touch to your typical HK cafe meal. We also ordered the chicken steak laksa and the soup was full of flavor. Lots of laksa soup bases at HK cafes are diluted—but not here! The staff even offered our child a lollipop on the way out! Our only complaint here - the front door is EXTREMELY SQUEAKY and each time someone enters or exits the restaurant, all the guests are greeted with a painful screech. Some WD-40 might do the trick Otherwise good. Will definitely come back!

Gold star to the chef at the grill. The meats here are always executed to technical perfection: juicy and tender with crispy but not greasy skin. Given this is a small restaurant with only 9 tables, I'm impressed by the diversity and quality of the food. Furthermore impressed that most meals are at the 10 and 15 price points. Beef and mushroom sandwich: Was eclipsed by the fries, which were prepared my favourite way, with batter and crispy. The sandwich was nice too, lots of beef, tender and cooked medium rare the way I like. Only complaint was that there was some cartilage in the meat, which I had to cut out. Panko-fried pork chops: Again, lots of meat, two chops, which were tender, juicy, and just gently seasoned, the way I like. Chicken rice noodle soup had a perfectly grilled boneless chicken thigh with crispy skin. Mixed grill: All meats grilled to textural perfection. Enough food for 2 people. Onion gravy good with fries. Service excellent, attentive, friendly, with a personal touch.

Searched on Google maps for a spot to grab lunch, and wanted to try due to the name of the restaurant, the reviews, and the way the food looked in the pics....this place definitely didn't disappoint! I ordered my food to go and didn't realize how much you get! That curry sauce is perfect to dip fries and nuggets in. I'll definitely be back to try more items!
